Interlibrary Loans

Upon request, library staff may attempt to borrow materials not in the Kirbyville Public Library's collection from the Houston Area Library System.
Adult patrons in good standing (no fines or overdue materials, lost or damaged materials) may request Books, Audio Books, Periodicals, Articles, Videos, or DVDs.  Patrons under age 18 must have parent or guardian order Interlibrary loan items.

Limits:
Up to 3 items (includes books/audio books, Videos/DVDs) per month per adult patron may be ordered.

After the limit stated, a patron may order additional items at a cost of $3 per item.  This charge is to cover shipping and handling to return item(s) to the lending library. 

Failure to pick up items ordered through interlibrary loan will result in withdrawal of this service in the future.
